I'm a respected and experienced PR comms specialist and creative writer, and for more than 28 years I’ve helped clients tell their stories and connect with their communities, customers, and colleagues.

I’m in the business of making word salads, challenging perceptions, managing reputations, bringing communities on journeys, and celebrating successes through strategic PR, engagement strategies, and compelling copy writing, and am equally at home at a boardroom table, a kitchen island, or addressing a crowd in a local hall or marae.

I absolutely love what I do and it's all made possible with a daily Americano or two from my trusty coffee machine (not pictured below).

I’VE ALWAYS LOVED TALKING AND WRITING….

After working in publicity in film and TV in Auckland, I built a very successful Public Relations company, working with major global brands, fashion designers and movie stars. In 2000 I chose to move to Hawke’s Bay, trading the bright lights for more subdued hues.

I’ve had my own PR slash writing business for decades, with the odd employment gig thrown in from time to time, including as Senior Account Director at Mango (DDB) and a couple of stints in PR for wine companies.

When I'm not talking or writing, I can be found performing regularly as a cellist, and teaching and playing the piano. I also love to entertain and socialise, and regularly indulge in a decent Cab Merlot, Chenin Blanc or Bordeaux red.
